ZUVT.com -- ZUVT

Zuvt.com -- Zuvt
__________
One out of every 100 families in Vermont was a part owner of Ben and Jerry's.
-- Jerry Greenfield
_____________________________

This sweet little name would make a great company name for a business located in Vermont (VT), which would leave "ZU" for your company name. "Zuvt" would also make a fine tech name.

For other acronyms for VT, see Acronym Finder and Acronym Attic.

There are very few acronyms for "ZU," which is actually good news because branding this will be that much easier (Acronym Attic).

In order to pass the radio test, the letters would have to be spelled out, so this is primarily a visual name: internet, TV, and print media.

No trademarks were found on USPTO.gov for "ZUVT" or related names (other than "ZU," which is not surprising given it's short length. Please conduct your own research before purchasing).

ZXAL.com -- ZXAL

ZXAL.com -- ZXAL
___________
Reason is the natural order of truth; but imagination is the organ of meaning.
--C. S. Lewis
_____________________________

"ZXAL" is a very cool-looking 4-letter name that would make a good company name/acronym. We envision this as a technology or space-age domain: tech website, private space agency, gaming site, computers, etc.

However, if you're seeking a name that will be advertised extensively on the radio, then this might not be the name for your company. This is short enough that you could spell out the letters, but this is primarily a visual name.

No trademarks were found on the USPTO.gov data base for "ZXAL" or any of its variations, such as "SXAL."

Ziqus.com -- Ziqus (ziQus)

Ziqus.com -- Ziqus
________
Avoid demonizing television, computer games, and new technologies. Electronic media may compete for kids' attention, but we're not going to get kids reading by badmouthing other entertainment. Admit that TV and games can do things books can't.
-- Jon Scieszka
______________________________

"Ziqus" or "ziQus" suggests a type of video game or playful company name. Capitalizing the "Q" really makes this name pop visually -- never underestimate the power of "Q" in a product or company name. This Q works especially well because of the organic "u" that follows it, for (in English), "u" almost always follows "q."

This name also follows the "consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel-consonant" pattern, a very desirable configuration for products and company names.

This name sort of passes the radio test, although listeners might hear and see "zikus" or "zicus"; but if you are selling computer games, you won't be advertising on radio, now will you? Ziqus works best as a visual name in visual media: internet, TV, billboard, magazines, etc.

One of the best aspects: Ziqus does not appear on the USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com data bases, nor does there seem to be any ancillary marks to worry about.

Zalat.com -- Zalat

Zalat.com -- Zalat
_______________

The real names of our people were destroyed during slavery. The last name of my forefathers was taken from them when they were brought to America and made slaves, and then the name of the slave master was given, which we refuse, we reject that name today and refuse it. I never acknowledge it whatsoever.

-- Malcolm X

_______________________

"Zalat" is just one of those strong names that seems to be perfect for a up-and-coming tech company. It is a short, appealing name that consists of the highly desirable consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel-consonant (CVCVC) configuration; these types of names are difficult to find and getting more difficult.

"Zalat" also seems to be a last name, albeit unusual.

As of 8/12/2013, no trademark on "Zalat" was found on the USPTO.gov and Trademarkia.com data bases. A quick check on Google does not turn up use in commerce, but with all short names like this, it is always good to conduct a more thorough search before purchasing.

ZestTest.com -- Zesttest or Zest Test

ZestTest.com -- Zest Test
________________

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.
-- George Best
___________________________________

Zesttest or "Zest Test" would be a good brand name for a computer help and repair site, providing a service for customers whose computers are too slow or not working at all.

The root word "Zest" suggests something lively and fast, while "Test" suggests a trial and error process, often used in process of elimination in finding computer problems and also in coding. If process of elimination is fast, you will find the problem quickly and leave a happy customer with a working computer.

As of 8/11/2013, Zesttest and and Zest Test were not found on the USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com data bases.

Zwapo.com -- Zwapo

Zwapo.com -- Zwapo
________________
I like the idea that every page in every book can have a gem on it. It's probably what I love most about writing - that words can be used in a way that's like a child playing in a sandpit, rearranging things, swapping them around.
-- Markus Zusak
_______________________________

"Zwapo" is just one of those non-words that should be a word; indeed, the root word "Zwap" is a play on the word "swap." Certainly, Zwapo would be a great swap meet website or brand for a company that organizes physical swap meets and other trade events.

Also, "Zwap" is listed in the Urban Dictionary as "someone getting hit by an object or person at a high velocity." One sees this word quite a bit in fast-action comic books as superheroes and villains duke it out.

Zwapo is a fast-action term, perhaps describing a screaming fast software program or game -- this term also suggests a techie type word, through and through.

While "Zwapo" does not appear in the USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com data bases, the term is in commercial use in the Netherlands (See zwapo.nl) for the sales of pre-fab log cabins (Blokhutten). If you plan to do business in the Netherlands and/or sell pre-fab buildings, you might want to consider another name for your business or product. In any case, please consult with a trademark lawyer with any questions you might have about this domain and its potential as a trademark for your product or service.

Zeome.com -- Zeome or Zeo Me

Zeome.com -- Zeome or Zeo Me
_________________

When you get into statistical analysis, you don't really expect to achieve fame. Or to become an Internet meme. Or be parodied by The Onion -- or be the subject of a cartoon in The New Yorker. I guess I'm kind of an outlier there.
-- Nate Silver
________________________

"Zeome" or "Zeo Me" suggests a trendy tech start up, a perfect meme name. This name could also represent a company that manufactures hardware, tools, building supplies, etc.

As of 8/8/2013, "Zeome" or "Zeo Me" were not found in the USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com data bases. However, there are several trademarks on "Zeo" for various products and services -- actually good news because this suggests that it is not an exclusive mark. If you have any concerns, please consult with a trademark lawyer before purchasing.

Zequin.com and Zequins.com -- Zequin and Zequins

Zequin.com -- Zequin
_______________

Zequins.com -- Zequins
_______________

Some people need sequins, others don't.
--Edith Head
_________________________________

What a sparkly name for a night club, restaurant, bar, or any hot spot where trendy people gather.

As with many "Z" names, Zequin/s would also be a great name for an internet start-up.

For whatever use, Zequin or Zequins is zippy, catchy, colorful, and memorable.

Also, Zequin and Zequins are actual words, variants of "sequin" and "sequins."

As of 8/3/2013, according to USPTO.gov, there is a dead/abandoned trademark on "Zequin" for an ophthalmic pharmaceutical medicine for the treatment of conjunctivitis, so if you plan to use this term for a pharmaceutical product, you may want to consult with a Trademark lawyer before purchasing. From a practical standpoint, two meds with the same name might be cause for consumer confusion.

ZubCI.com -- ZubCI or Zub CI

ZubCI.com -- Zub CI
_____________________

A picture is worth a thousand words. An interface is worth a thousand pictures.
--Ben Shneiderman
__________________________

"ZubCI" would be a great term for a a tech company specializing in Computer Interfacing (software and hardware) -- but it is certainly not limited to the Computer Interface field.

In some Slavic languages, "Zub" means "tooth." According to the Urban Dictionary, Zub is slang for hanging out at home, or it's just a "Z" version of bub, cub, dub, hub, nub, pub, rub, sub, and tub. Zub is also a last name.

"CI" has 236 possibilities on Acronym Finder.

If you plan to do a lot of radio advertising, "ZubCI" would pass the radio test, if you pronounce the URL string as "Zub-C-I-dot-com." Otherwise, listeners will hear and see "zubsy.com" -- so please keep this in mind before buying.

As of 8/1/2013, no trademarks were found on "ZubCI" or "Zub CI" on USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com

Zwaa.com -- Zwaa

Zwaa.com -- Zwaa
_______________

Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.

-- Charlie Chaplin

____________________________

Although "Zwaa" (pronounced "Z'Wah") has been categorized as "tech," this is one of those terms that could represent just about any product or service. It's kind of playful and flirty, great for a company that prizes informality and humor as part of its corporate culture.

According to the Urban Dictionary, "Zwaa" has had a brush with fame on the NBC series Scrubs as a term that means "to diss" or "burn":
Ed: Zwaa!
Dr. Cox: Who made that noise?
Ed: Oh, uhh... I did. I'm a little tired of her chipper attitude so it's cool to see you just slam her so I just went Zwaa!
Dr. Cox: So, if I were to ask you a question like "What is the next diagnostic move in checking for Zollinger–Ellison?" and you didn't know I would say "Zwaa!"
Ed: Nope. Because I know the answer: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy. Zwaa!
Dr. Cox: Good. But mark my words I will Zwaa you by the end of the day.
One caution, though: in Switzerland, there is a wine called Zwaa, so, perhaps, if you live and/or work in Switzerland, you might want to consult with a trademark lawyer, especially if you plan to open a winery. Indeed, the domain name Zwaa.ch appears to be registered to one of the winery owners, but does not resolve into a website.

As of 7/29/2013, "Zwaa" does not appear in the USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com data bases.

Zaxaz.com -- Zaxaz

Zaxaz.com -- Zaxaz
_____________

When the tech geeks talk, I pay close attention.

-- Gary Vaynerchuk
__________________________

"Zaxaz" seems like a good techie name for a tech company. This name is unique in that it is a short palindrome, which means the word reads the same in reverse as it does forward. There is a sweet symmetry to such names, as depicted in the logo.

Also, short palindromes are difficult to find in .com; most of them are already registered; "Zaxaz" was acquired on the aftermarket.

One caveat: if you plan to do a lot of radio advertising, this probably isn't the right brand name for your company because it is a mouthful to pronounce. But if your company plans to do mostly visual advertising, then Zaxaz would be perfect.

As of 7/23/2013, No trademarks for Zaxaz were found on USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com.

Zobotic.com -- Zobotic
_______________

I'm kind of glad the web is sort of totally anarchic. That's fine with me.

--Roger Ebert
____________________________

"Zobotic" suggests all things robots, tech, tools, software, web development -- just about anything.

This webmaster would definitely want a zobotic being to clean house, cook meals, do yard work, grocery shop, etc., so if you buy this domain, please brand this for the manufacture of zobots, uh, robots, and build one for her ASAP.

As of 7/20/2013, the term zobotic was not found in USPTO.gov or Trademarkia.com; however, "Zobot" is trademarked for educational computer games for children, so if you plan to use Zobotic for anything but computer games for kids, you should be okay.
